Different people in Ten Commandments

This time in Humanities class, we had seen a movie called " Ten Commandments". I saw many religions, people and technology in this movie. I think those people who with different culture could be divided into two groups - ancient Egyptian and Israel.

Ancient Egyptian

Pharaoh

is a title used in many modern discussions of the ancient Egyptian rulers of all periods. Ramesses II is the Pharaoh of the Oppression as is traditionally thought. pharaoh also were used on the occasions when a female ruled. Initially, the rulers were considered the sons of a cow deity, and they occupied her throne to rule the country and conduct divine service in religious rites.

Common citizens
Most ancient Egyptians were farmers tied to the land. Their house were restricted to immediate family members, and were constructed of mud-brick designed to remain cool in the heat of the day. Beliefs in the divine and in the afterlife were ingrained in ancient Egyptians. Pharaonic rule was based on the divine right of kings.

Religion
The Egyptians believed that every human being was composed of physical and spiritual parts. In addition to the body, each person had a shadow, a personality or soul, a life-force, and a name. The heart, rather than the brain, was considered the seat of thoughts and emotions. After death, the spiritual part were released from the body and could move at will, but they required the physical remains as a permanent home. The Egyptian temple was populated by gods who had supernatural powers and were called on for help or protection.

Ancient Israel
The biblical book of Genesis recites how the Children of Israel became Egyptian slaves. 1300 BCE Some Bible remarks place the birth of Moses around this time.

Mosses' mother Jochebed.
Moses’ older sister is Miriam(by seven years old)
Moses’ older bother is Aaron(by three years old)
